By 1^st July 2007, all employees in Bulgaria should have signed an annex to their labour contracts, containing the new amendment for professional length of service. The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy warns that in cases where the employer fails to present the document, it will be considered as a violation of the legal labour rights.  The requirement is regulated by the Bulgarian Labour Code, according to which, every additional compensation, made on regular basis, should be included in an individual labour contract.
