Preliminary data of NSI for the Fourth Quarter of 2012 indicated that the total hourly labour cost rose by 5.1% compared to the Fourth Quarter of 2011.
Quarterly Labour Cost Index, Third Quarter of 2011

Preliminary data of NSI for the Third Quarter of 2011 indicated that the total hourly labour cost rose by 7.2% compared to the Third Quarter of 2010.
The Unemployment Rate in August 2013

Bulgaria’s August jobless rate edged down by 0.1 percentage points from the previous month to 10.7%, the country’s Employment Agency said. A total of 351,438 unemployed were registered with the agency’s offices at the end of last month, down by 3,601 from July, the agency said in a statement. The number of people who found a job in August totalled 19,327. Job vacancies amounted to 11,932 last month, up by 562 from a year earlier. In August, the biggest number of job vacancies – 2,816, was reported in the manufacturing sector. Trade followed with 1,761.
