National Statistics Institute data shows that for the past 9 years salaries in Bulgaria have tripled. The accumulated inflation since the beginning of 2001 is 68.1%, while the Bulgarians’ income generated from salaries has increased almost three times. The observation is valid for both the average and the minimum wage.
